Finding the body of her first love, Jerad, at the age of thirteen wasn’t
exactly the highlight of Krystal Bao’s life. Instead of facing what she
saw, she runs finding refuge with her first love’s family, the Trio. Four
years later she’s still trying to deal with the discovery. Though it has
taken some time, she finally realizes she needs help dealing with her
grief. Krystal turns to Yohan, the new man in her life hoping he can
help her face Jerad’s death.   Yohan will do anything he can to make
sure Krystal has the best life possible, including hiding his troubled
past.

After learning the truth about what Krystal saw the night she found
Jerad, Yohan enlists the help of the Trio, Aubrey, Antonio, and Andre
to get Krystal help dealing with Jerad’s death. But dealing with Jerad’s
death isn’t the only challenge Krystal now faces.   She befriends a man
who isn’t who she thinks he is, she’s plagued by dreams that ultimately
depict the death of people near and dear to her, and when she
determines that her new friend is the one responsible for one of those
deaths for the first time in Krystal’s life she clearly sees what she needs
to do.
